This page was last updated May 13, 2008. Click here to view our Roving and Yarn page. Click here to view our handwoven rugs. We sell FRESHLY SHORN premium fleeces. Unless noted, all are from blanketed sheep, well skirted and are extremely clean. They are guaranteed to be as described or your money back (including shipping!). The price listed is for the entire fleece. Shipping (via USPS Priority Mail unless requested otherwise) is extra and depends upon the destination. You can estimate shipping cost from our ZIP code (48473) to yours at the U.S. Postal Service website, www.usps.gov . Keep in mind that the box will add about 1.5 lbs to the shipping weight. If you would prefer to receive a ready-to-spin product, we can take the fleece directly to Zeilinger's Wool Processing in not-to-distant Frankenmuth, MI, for a small fee ($5 to cover gas) thereby saving one shipping charge (if you plan to ship it out for processing). Their website is www.zwool.com . A quantity discount of 50 cents per pound will apply to the second fleece (and any additional fleeces) in the purchase of two or more fleeces at the same time. Click on the name to view a photo of the fleece. ROMNEY LAMB FLEECES -- Because of their rapid growth, we do not blanket our lambs. These fleeces are still very clean, but they do have a bit of tipping due to weathering. This generally disappears when processed. 1. PFR 478 (white) - 7.75 lbs, 3"- 4" staple length. Shorn November, '07. Extreme crimp and lock, will wash up very white. Fine, soft and lustrous. The lamb was shown in this fleece, so there is some minor variety of staple length due to fitting. $54
