Romney breeding stock for sale
2010 Lambs (Yearlings sold out - contact us for availability in 2011))
|
|
Beginning in every April,
Pitchfork Ranch makes available some of the highest quality white and
natural-colored Romney lambs to be found in the Midwest. Our bloodlines
run directly from premier breeding programs in Oregon, as well as from
outstanding Midwestern breeders. Pitchfork breeding stock is sold healthy, fully
vaccinated, and wormed with fertility fully guaranteed. We
strive to produce healthy lambs with correct conformation, distinct breed
character, excellent growth rates and outstanding fleeces. An individual
animal's breeding performance is at least (if not more) important as how well
it may do in the show ring. We sell only animals that we would be willing
to breed ourselves and are not afraid to cull to achieve this.
|
| We
sell most of our breeding stock as lambs, but occasionally have a small
number of selected yearlings
for sale.
We may also have a few mature, proven ewes for sale. Contact us for availability, bloodlines and prices.

| We will gladly supply prospective buyers with references from those who have purchased from us in the past. If we do not have any lambs available, buyers may reserve their choice from the next lamb crop. We generally begin our waiting list for the following year in August or September. Contact us to see what we have available. |
